Roles and Responsibilities

• Supporting concept owners through prototyping and product design with a strong point of view of engineering and technical capabilities.
• Evaluate a variety of options – tech stacks, vendor packages, partner relationships - in the course of early-state product concepting and technical design.
• Collaborate with innovation development teams to develop and enhance services and tools to improve efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Ability to understand financial implications of design choices and ability to estimate MVP and total build costs and ongoing operating costs as well as unit costs per customer.
• Cooperate with enterprise architects to align cloud infrastructure development with the overall IT strategy and ensure compliance with architectural and security standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system design, architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Experience with virtualization (ie. VMWare) and containerization (ie. docker).
  
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, backup solutions, and strategies.
• Working knowledge in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience writing and working with automation scripts (bash, python, etc.).
• Certifications in Agile Frameworks - Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.
